Jacquelyn Veraldi is a third year student at the University of Groningen completing her degree in International and European Law. Prior to embarking on her LLB studies, she completed a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Waterloo (Canada). Jacquelyn's overall passion lies in using the law as a mechanism to facilitate the public interest. This was shaped by her experiences in research and advocacy with legal scholars, firms and NGOs, in the areas of EU law, health law, IP, competition, and tax law. At present, she holds research positions in access to medicines, tobacco control, and EU commercial law.
