Reatch Ideas Competition 2022

Tackling crises before they emerge – with research.

Whether it is to tackle the climate crisis, the energy transition, or the transformation of work – a close and constructive collaboration between researchers and politicians is crucial to resolve societal challenges. Unfortunately however, when tackling social crises, scientific findings and research insights remain unused far too often – or, if they find their way into the development of political and social solutions, they do so only at a late stage.

Accordingly, the Franxini-Project is today looking for your solutions to the crises of tomorrow!

Around 30 ideas came together on how we can use science to overcome crises before they arise! On 12 November, we selected the winners at the finals in Bern.

The selection process for the special prize is still ongoing. Several of the ideas submitted are still in the running, and the decision will be made in December. With the special prize, selected ideas will be included in our Franxini Innovation Hub support program. We want to support the idea in its concrete implementation. The aim is for the idea to find its way to the decision-makers and thus have the opportunity to positively influence our society.
